As the respondent, it is unlikely that any disbursements will apply.

Your questions answered

How much is a Fixed Fee Divorce?

If you are the applicant, our Fixed Fee Divorce package is £700 plus VAT, plus any disbursements (usually just the court issue fee of £593). If you are the respondent, the same package is £450 plus VAT, and disbursements are unlikely to apply.

What does the Fixed Fee package include?

It covers drafting and preparing the application, arranging for it to be issued by the court, notifying you once your spouse is served, and applying for both the Conditional Order and the Final Divorce Order.

When is the fixed fee not available?

The fixed fee does not apply where an amended or further application is required, where there is a change of instructions, where matters are not agreed by your spouse, or where there are difficulties serving the other party.

What about our finances?

The financial needs of both spouses and any children must be formally agreed. We can advise on a fair settlement, represent you in financial remedy proceedings involving complex assets, and support mediation and negotiation.

Do you offer appointments locally?

Yes. We act for clients throughout the Fylde Coast and Lancashire, and your application can be dealt with by post or in person at our Fleetwood or Cleveleys offices.
